2007-2019

The Foundation succeeded in changing the name of the Rockview Dam south of Grabouw to Dorha Dam. Dorha was the Chainouqua’s last chief, who was persecuted and exterminated by Simon van der Stel; this was one of the causes of his dismissal. The change is official and has already been published in the Provincial Gazette. Notice boards have also been installed at the dam.

It was a pleasant meeting with the Chainouqua, and we will definitely continue to work together.
