The northern most of all the signal guns mounted by the VOC is the one that has been standing in front of the Primary School Olifantsvallei, in Citrusdal. After years of communication with the school this significant landmark and piece of VOC heritage will be returned to its historical position on the Piekenierskloof, just above the Kardoesie Farm Stall and Restaurant. The official opening will take place on 16 December 2024.
